European Museum Night 2022

Back on the 2022 edition of the Night of the Museums which took place on Saturday, May 14 in the village of Bormes-les-Mimosas.

On the occasion of the European Night of Museums, May 14, 2022, the MHAB Museum of History and Arts of Bormes-les-Mimosas offered a program from 10am to 5:30pm, including two exhibitions, a guided tour and two artistic workshops.

Despite the closure of the museum until the fall of 2022 for renovation, the team wanted to maintain this appointment, naturally outside the walls this year. Thus, the exhibition “Le Musée dans les Airs” took place in the rue Carnot and highlighted 18 works of the collection, thanks to hanging kakemonos.

The exhibition “The Class, The Work” in the Henri Chartier room, presented graphic creations and a model in connection with the theme of the “ideal museum”, interpreted by the students of the elementary school and the leisure center of Bormes-les-mimosas.

Various highlights punctuated the day including the opening of the exhibition “The Museum in the Air” by our elected representative for culture, Ms. Casellato, on the square in front of the church of Saint-Trophyme and a breakfast in the morning at the Henri Chartier room.
